Per Night Costs
As of 1st January 2020
£13.00 per person per night (Subject to £52 minimum charge per group per night, equivalent to four people per night).
Sole Use of the Bunkhouse - £135.00 per group per night.
Per night - is regarded as a 16 hour period - 18.00hrs to 10.00hrs, access is available during the day time for groups who book consecutive nights.
If your group is a BCA recognised Caving Club/Organisation, please contact the Bunkhouse Warden (see contacts for details), as you may be entitled to a per person per night discount.
Drying Room
The heater and dehumidifier in the drying room are run off of an electricity meter run on £1.00 coins.
Bakers Pit
A key for Bakers Pit can be provided on behalf of D.C.U.C. This requires an additional cheque for £10.00 made payable to “Devon & Cornwall Underground Council”.
Deposit
Sole Use
When booking the bunkhouse for sole use, a deposit (non returnable & non refundable) of £60.00 must be paid in advance for each night booked. The deposit will be deducted from balance to pay. On receipt of the deposit, the provisional bookings will be "confirmed".
Group Booking
When booking the bunkhouse as a group, a deposit (non returnable & non refundable) of £52.00 must be paid in advance. The deposit will be deducted from balance to pay. On receipt of the deposit, the provisional bookings will be "confirmed".
The £52 deposit represents the minimum per night group charge.
Balance
The balance must be paid at the end of the visit, either by leaving the money at the secure money box at the bunkhouse (Where it will be collected) or by posting a cheque to the bunkhouse warden within 7 days of your visit (see contacts for details).
Cheques
When using cheques (deposit or balance) they should be made payable to “Devon Speleo Society”.
